Attention Nikon users!

Nikon has just updated their Capture NX 2 (v.2.2.0) software to include automatic chromatic adjustment, automatic distortion control and a 50% speed boost for Intel MAC users and also gains for the PC user. I am using a Dual Processor MacPro and I can affirm the speed boost.

Why are Professional Photographers so expensive?

Caught on Film has a good answer to a question that you may have been asked from your customers before – “Why do you charge so much for a print that I can get at Wal-Mart for under two dollars?”

The answer of course is that your clients aren’t paying for just a piece of paper – they are really paying for your time and expertise.  Or, as Caught on Film puts it, “Think of it this way – the next time you pay $X to get your hair done, a pair of scissors only costs $1.50. But you gladly pay a lot more to hire a Professional.“
